Dark • Whimsical • Intimate

There is something romantic in deep heart-felt colors and high contrast that captures the depth of our emotions. In this shoot, we explore these deep emotive qualities through color and texture. Dark tones in foliage and table decor juxtapose the soft purple and grey floral. The fanciful sequin swirls in the fabulous bridal gown add a light and contemporary feel amidst the urban forest.

When Ashley met Dylan she never imagined that she would be over the moon for him. Dylan and Ashley met at LAX, both ready to embark on the same yearlong trip to New Zealand through their school. This would carry them to the Southwestern seas, to great friendships, through many experiences and cities throughout the island. Their travels eventually led them home to Denver.

Now walking up the aisle of trees Ashley remembers the tropical environments where she got to know and began to fall in love with Dylan. As the couple exchanges a kiss in front of the whimsical crescent moon- Ashley’s childhood dream is complete. The depth of emotion and intimacy are fully felt through the deep colors and the overflowing candlelight of the ceremony.

A Message From the Bride

“Don’t be afraid of black– when mixed with the right elements, black makes everything feel sophisticated and formal, you can always tone it back down with color and add some personality with texture!”
