What a joy it was to be a part of Zoe and Jake’s gorgeous, spring wedding! Zoe and Jake were both involved in their floral design and we had the best time collaborating on the details! Initially coming to us with a seasonal and earthy color palette, Zoe and Jake didn’t shy away when we pushed them a little brighter for a beautiful pop against the mountain backdrop. We landed on shades of coral, rose gold, and peach paired with blending earth tones and hints of golden yellow and orange for a stunning collection of texture and local blooms that we think perfectly match their personalities and relationships!
We started by adorning Woodlands, a scenic Colorado mountain venue, with whimsical and tree-like greenery – hanging wood oak along the string lights over the tables and dramatically growing up to frame the doorway to the outdoor ceremony for a true wow factor! Moving outside, the couple shared vows under a chuppah surrounded by dynamic and organic greenery and blooms to highlight the forest behind them. Zoe held an absolutely stunning hand-tied bouquet with a focus on garden lush flowers – pairing beautiful spring peonies and garden roses with textural wildflower blooms for a fun and funky vibe!
Back in the reception space, we created flower-forward centerpieces that let the spring blooms really shine and added to the whimsical and playful atmosphere. Along the length of the head table, we intertwined greenery with bloom-heavy bud vases, and even added unexpected place settings of kumquat sprigs! There were so many more beautiful and unexpected details that went into this day, from the colored candles to the eclectic vaseware, and Jake’s textural pocket square boutonniere. We are truly honored to have been part of Zoe and Jake’s fun and gorgeous mountain wedding!
